The Anchor Haven was founded with one simple yet profound mission—to provide a safe, supportive, and nurturing home for teenage girls who need stability, guidance, and a sense of belonging. We understand that for many young women, finding acceptance in society and within themselves can be a challenging journey, especially when family connections are strained or absent.
Our dedicated team of trained professionals offers more than just a place to stay—we provide a path forward. Through individualized care plans, therapeutic support, and life-skills development, we empower our residents to heal from past experiences, build resilience, and step confidently into their futures.
Our Approach: Empowering Growth Through Compassionate Care
With a holistic approach to care, The Anchor Haven provides specialized treatment for challenges such as anger management, depression, anxiety, and behavioral difficulties. Our programs include individual and group therapy, family counseling, peer support, and essential life management skills, ensuring that each young woman receives the support she needs to grow and thrive.
Beyond healing, we focus on preparing our residents for the next chapter of their lives. Our Youth Development Navigator connects them with educational resources and post-high school opportunities, while our Independent Living Coordinator equips them with the skills needed for self-sufficiency.
